For over 20 years, entrepreneur and leading business executive Susie Almaneih has learned that as a female, being able to lead a juggling act in the professional world circus can be one of the toughest challenges anyone can face. But, throughout the years Susie has proven that women can achieve anything they set their mind to, as long as the passion, time, and effort are there.
Susie Almaneih | Background & Job Experience:
From a young age Susie Almaneih knew she wanted to be a leader, but also recognized that it wouldn’t be easy. Her parents set the bar high for her when they emigrated from Eastern Europe with the determination and the dream to provide a better life for their children. They proudly reached success in their careers with positions in the steel industry, making numerous difficult sacrifices along the way. Susie was observant of their hard work and willingness to make such sacrifices and learned what it was going to take to reach success. She recalls her father saying, “Work is work. If it was fun, it would be called fun.”
Almaneih kicked off her adventure in the professional world shortly after graduating from Baldwin Wallace University with a Bachelors of Arts degree in Economics and Finance. She landed a job as an analyst for a transportation company, where she was led by a boss that lacked qualities of a true leader. On a day-to-day basis he would rarely answer her questions and was disengaged with the company as a whole. But, instead of being discouraged, Susie excelled in every project she was given, and eventually lead the company to win one of their biggest deals at the time. Her work ethic was admirable, and this became the foundation of Susie Almaneih as an entrepreneur.
Currently, Ms. Almaneih works at Exact Market as a leader in Program Marketing and SVP Products. Exact Market focuses on marketing services that drive products to the market quickly to improve sales results. Here, Almaneih works with high-tech clients in predominately computer security, software, and healthcare markets. Throughout the years, Almaneih has helped lead millions of dollars over gross sales as a high level executive.
